Joanne Brody Spielman and Andrea Brody Gillman are sisters who grew
up in Bethesda, Maryland. We named the firm Brody Art Concepts in honor of our maiden names, with a special nod to our mom, whose artistic talent
and 40 plus years in the art industry gave us the passion and drive to perpetuate the business of art.

Most recently, Joanne was the founder of Directions In Art, an art consulting firm based in the Washington, DC metropolitan area. DIA was a full service art selection and visual design firm that worked nationally and internationally on custom sculptures and art installations. Prior to DIA, Joanne was a partner of Whichcraft Gallery in Chevy Chase, Maryland, where she cultivated her expertise in visual design, art solutions, selections, placements and installations. Joanne’s educated eye and original taste will help determine extraordinary style for your space.

Andrea was formerly the director of real estate development and design for
Mascott Corporation. Based in Hillside, NJ, Mascott is a restaurant
company that owns and operates many major restaurant brands including
Smashburger, Cinnabon, Markers, and Ground Connection Coffee Bar. Prior to

Mascott, Andrea was a founder of CUT by 2 blondes, a designer of hip shirts for boys. Andrea’s relaxed approach and creative flair are a perfect complement for creating a remarkable environment.

We created Brody Art Concepts because of our love of art and design. We
are enthusiastic to work with teams and individuals who want to
create an aesthetic in their work environments or private homes that reflect
a sense of style and mood. We are excited about working with you to
create spaces that are relevant, leading-edge, and exceptional.
